Academics Details

The school is following ICSE syllabus. At present school has reached up to class eight and the affiliation process is going on with full vigour. The medium of communication and teaching is English and option is given to the students to opt Hindi or Bengali as their second language.

HOUSES

School has four houses namely: Red house, Blue house, Yellow house and green house. Students belonging to these houses make the school campus more colourful, cheerful and vivacious. Activities based on these houses give the students a fine opportunity to showcase their talents.

SCHOOL TIMINGS

School starts at 8:45 a.m. and ends at 3:00 p.m. Each period consists of 40 minutes with sufficient intervals. The school begins with a common assembly invoking the creator and saluting the motherland. The school ends a day thanking the Merciful Father and praising the deeds of the great men and women

ATTENDANCE

Student should have a minimum 85% of attendance to be promoted to the higher classes. Long absence from the school more than five days should be proved with due certificates of an authorized medical officer in case of sickness. A duly signed leave letter from the parents/guardians is compulsory to be absent from the school. The school reserves the authority to the principal to give any concession regarding the leave from the school.

SCHOOL DIARY

The school explains the daily academic and other activities of the school. It explains the school time table and class routines. It is a medium of communication to the parents and from the parents to the class teachers and the principle. Special pages are provided for instructions, syllabus for exams and home works. The school diary is mandatory for all the students.

EVALUATION

The school follows the method of continuous evaluation coupled with annual examinations to evaluate the academic progress of the students. The evaluation will be conducted at regular intervals. The schedule of examination will be sent to parents through school diary. No student will be permitted to miss any examination. No requests will be entertained for postponement or re-examination.

TEXT BOOKS

School supplies directly text books and required stationary to all the students at actual cost. The text books list is given under the link “Text Books” in this site.

PROMOTION

Students will be promoted to the next higher class once in a year based on their performance in the annual examinations and overall record during the academic year
