Activites

The school attaches great importance to a varied programme of activities outside the normal class routine. They are designed to develop important traits of character like honesty, self-confidence, co-operation and diligence and to promote latent talent for leadership and responsibility. A good use of library facilities, elocutions and quiz contests, dramatics, art and craft, drawing and painting competitions, games and athletics are also included in the curriculum to promote physical and cultural values among students and to encourage in them a spirit of healthy competition. An inter-house athletic meet and school cultural programme is held every year. While members of the staff are always present to give the advice and guidance, the fullest hope is given for initiative and leadership among the students. The spectrums of cativities are mentioned under the head Co curricular activities in this diary.
